Never trust your spell-checker

This is a poem somebody wrote and the word processor never showed the mistakes in it. The first two lines should read:

"I have a spelling-checker

It came with my PC "

Could you write the poem as it should be?

The first one to do it successfully will... ahh... mmmhh... Well, we'll see, but try anyway!

(If you click on the poem, you'll get to see it bigger!)

ODE TO THE SPELL CHECKER

I have a spelling checker

It came with my PC

It plainly marks for my review

mistakes i can not see

I strike a key and type a word

and wait for it to say

wether I am wrong or right

It shows me straight a way

As soon as a mistake is made

It knows before too long

And I can put the error right

Its rarely ever wrong

I have run this poem through it

I am sure you are pleased to know

Its letter perfect all the way
